nr. truro

I am not a regular visitor to national trust gardens/buildings for a few reasons (too silly to go into here). anyway I did get to visit trelissick gardens just outside truro on saturday. perhaps more impressed with the house that is still lived in by its current owners (the garden was given to the national trust in 1955), I really liked the fact that the manor house was bulit in the shelter of the river valley but has amazing view across the fal river.

just a little bit of time

I started the day with a drive to mid cornwall, well almost and a meeting that to be fair stretched my functional skills learning (not level) to say the least.

but it was sunny, as I hope to work embedding function into everything I do or teach almoast as a reason for being. my morning meeting didn't inspire but sometimes things have to be learnt and have to be done.

then on to the city, and a different prospect altogether.

I love working, and thinking about working as well as gearing my work to enable other peoples ideas to become real. perhaps I will consider a change?

it is time to pay a visit to truro >> pre christmas

even though I live in cornwall I rarely visit truro, a place I really like.
it is one of those places that is big enough to be small, if that can make sense. what I mean is that it is a city that can be walked around easily (I like walking around places you see so much more). a bit like york or winchester two other cities I really like. so tomorrow I will be having a good look around hoping to be able to enjoy the atomsphere of a pre-christmas saturday in cornwall's only city.
