time to realise the good things >>

its a long weekend ahead for me (a bit of a break with the may bank holiday on monday). realising that I have been so up myself in the last few weeks. I am going to make a real effort to relax and concentrate on the important things, in other words the things I can do something about. rather than the stuff others control. its a chance to enjoy the area I have chosen to live in and the people I live with.

after work today I went to the dentist today for a routine check up. he found nothing wrong so I don't have to go back for a year, that's a good start.
be back next tuesday. hope you enjoy the long weekend.

what has scrabble got to do with it?

picture from teaandcakes

well nothing really the last couple of days have been rather busy with normal work as well as the ellie's haven marketing push so if I am really tired and really busy I have to say that I do like a good game of scrabble not very 'rock & roll' I realise but still. have to say as well I hate to loose, but find it relaxing in an alternatively stressful way. I was lucky enough to be given a travel scrabble set for christmas, so as well as using it when travelling I can also play it in bed, even less 'rock & roll'.

so now it is back to more emailing of people and more planning for some staff training tomorrow, just hope I manage a few triple word scores before I get to sleep tonight.
I won't be loosing any sleep over the fact that the application written for facebook 'scrabulous' has been asked to be removed from the facebook social network site. there is a time and a place for a computer, perhaps. however even I agree with the ruling.
night, night.

busy day >> simple

well in short I have had a kind of busy day, in to the city for some looking about (shopping) and 10-pin bowling, then a meal out (well I am supposed to be on holiday). at the same time as advising on employment stuff, re-writing CV's/personal statements (not mine). as well as trying to find a way to get a new macbook, but I just don't have the money at the moment.
it is really true the more you do the more you can.

today I feel a like the twitter logo for when the their site is not working properly, I am not working properly. perhaps because I still haven't learnt to relax yet.
that said I actually like the logo.
