sunday must be a trip to?

it is a saturday evening, I am at home planning on an early night as we are off to ikea and john lewis in the morning. living where I do this will mean a long drive (almost three hours if the traffic isn't too bad). still a small price to pay to live in the area of the country I am lucky to live in.
but all that said I am used to lots of long journeys, as later in the week I will be driving even further (for work this time) pretty much to the middle if the country.

busy

I know we all think we are busy I am no different. just got back home in cornwall from a meeting in bristol, it has been a long day. have to say what little I saw of bristol today was quite inspiring as was a small section of the meeting today which was a surprise.
I realise now that for so many reasons I should perhaps have gone by train but I never really considered it as I am so used to driving everywhere these days.

a day out

I haven't been to bristol for ages, except for the occasional visit to ikea on the way through to or back from the north. so haven't seen the changes that are continuing to happen.
I was there today for at watershed for a planning meeting, (I haven't been home long). it was a dull day weather-wise. the meeting wasn't dull, even with overcast skies, drizzle in the air and not even a hint of sunshine.
